The holiday season is a great time of year for a Family Session. I had a lot of fun doing Holiday Minis at Amherst State Park in Buffalo, New York this past 2023 holiday season. They were a little worried their littlest member would not do so great at the session due to a past session they did on vacation with another photographer that didn’t go well. But he did wonderful! I try to keep the sessions short and fun, so that is helpful if a baby might not be so into it.

The Wagner Family went with warm tones and classic outfits for the littles. We did a variety of spots that were all right next to each other so overall the session took very little time. Did some portraits by the evergreen trees, some walking on the path, and some of the beautiful steps.

But we took a few minutes to play and explore the nearby trails of the park and she warmed up enough to have a few portraits taken.
