The holiday season is a great time of year for a Family Session. I had a lot of fun doing Holiday Minis at Amherst State Park in Buffalo, New York this past 2023 holiday season. The Stafford Family with a cute holiday sweater look. They were a little worried their littlest member would not do so great at the session due to a past session they did on vacation with another photographer that didn’t go well. But he did wonderful! I try to keep the sessions short and fun, so that is helpful if a baby might not be so into it.

Love doing Family Sessions during the holiday season! This one is from the Holiday Minis at Amherst State Park in Buffalo, New York I did this past 2023 holiday season. The Wagner Family went with warm tones and classic outfits for the littles. We did a variety of spots that were all right next to each other so overall the session took very little time. Did some portraits by the evergreen trees, some walking on the path, and some of the beautiful steps.

But we took a few minutes to play and explore the nearby trails of the park and she warmed up enough to have a few portraits taken.

Fall and early winter are the perfect time for a yearly Family Session. For the Guarino family’s session we went to the Ivy Arch Bridge in Delaware Park. Love this location, it’s a great mix of architectural elements and nature vibes. We did family photos in a couple locations and with a few different groupings (mom and sons, dad and sons, boys alone) plus just had some fun running around and playing with leaves and twigs.

Brie and Josh had their wedding at the Buffalo Botanical Gardens and it was so beautiful and full of happiness. This is truly one of my favorite places to take photos and it’s a great wedding venue. Brie and Josh added boho vibes to their shared love of gaming and created a unique wedding that was just right for them. They had a super sweet first look at The Westin in downtown Buffalo and the backdrop paired so nicely with the Botanical Gardens look. We ended our time together with an intimate photo session that showed how clearly in love they are.

Ashleigh and Jamison got engaged at Hoyt Lake in Delaware Park so it was their top pick for a location for their sunset Engagement Session. It was also a given that their dogs would be included in the session! They were very excited to be included and even had bandanas and leashes that matched their owner’s outfits. Too cute! Ashleigh and Jamison brought along a cooler, ice cream, and cones and enjoyed a treat for the second half of their session as the sun set. This session was fun all around.
