Every year we offer Cherry Blossom Mini Sessions at the Japanese Garden in Delaware Park by the Buffalo History Museum. Love doing these sessions and love the cherry blossoms! The Family Session for the Guarino Family was relaxed and playful.

The Stafford Family with a cute holiday sweater look. They were a little worried their littlest member would not do so great at the session due to a past session they did on vacation with another photographer that didn’t go well. But he did wonderful! I try to keep the sessions short and fun, so that is helpful if a baby might not be so into it.

The Wagner Family went with warm tones and classic outfits for the littles. We did a variety of spots that were all right next to each other so overall the session took very little time. Did some portraits by the evergreen trees, some walking on the path, and some of the beautiful steps.

The Bernacki Family showed up in neutral tones with an adorable outfit for their little girl. She was not so into having solo portraits taken after we got some family portrait. But we took a few minutes to play and explore the nearby trails of the park and she warmed up enough to have a few portraits taken.

Read MoreFall and early winter are the perfect time for a yearly Family Session. For the Guarino family’s session we went to the Ivy Arch Bridge in Delaware Park. Love this location, it’s a great mix of architectural elements and nature vibes. We did family photos in a couple locations and with a few different groupings (mom and sons, dad and sons, boys alone) plus just had some fun running around and playing with leaves and twigs.

This is truly one of my favorite places to take photos and it’s a great wedding venue. Brie and Josh added boho vibes to their shared love of gaming and created a unique wedding that was just right for them. They had a super sweet first look at The Westin in downtown Buffalo and the backdrop paired so nicely with the Botanical Gardens look. We ended our time together with an intimate photo session that showed how clearly in love they are.

It was all, black lipstick, glitter braids, leather jackets, all black suits, glitter skulls, lanterns, purple and orange pumpkins, and it came together so well.
Read MoreAshleigh and Jamison got engaged at Hoyt Lake in Delaware Park so it was their top pick for a location for their sunset Engagement Session. It was also a given that their dogs would be included in the session! They were very excited to be included and even had bandanas and leashes that matched their owner’s outfits. Too cute! Ashleigh and Jamison brought along a cooler, ice cream, and cones and enjoyed a treat for the second half of their session as the sun set. This session was fun all around.

Adriana and Nathan did their first look where they first met at the University at Buffalo and had their ceremony and reception at The Avanti Mansion in Buffalo, New York. It was extra sweet with an impressive candy and truffle spread from Adriana’s family ice cream and candy shop, King Condrell’s in Kenmore, New York. Their whole day had a relaxed and happy feel!

For this pumpkin farm family session we headed to The Great Pumpkin Farm in Clarence a suburb of Buffalo, New York. Fall is a great time to do your yearly family session but I love the idea of changing it up and doing a pumpkin farm Halloween inspired session instead of a holiday session. It was a perfect fit for this family!

Jane and Jesse had their ceremony at Saint Lous Roman Catholic Church in downtown Buffalo, New York followed by portraits at Shea’s Theatre and a reception at The Loft at Thin Man Brewery. Their wedding had a classic feel throughout and truly focused on what was most important. With such iconic locations their wedding had a beautiful look without a lot of fuss. Their love and special moments shined through!

Adriana and Nathan had a very sweet lifestyle engagement session at Adriana’s family’s ice cream shop and candy store, King Condrell’s in Kenmore. We then walked down to the Kenmore Municipal building and did some photos around the cute village of Kenmore. So fun!
